Resistant and environmentally-friendly materials

Termosteel and Amsteel International (brand owner) are based in the United States.

A Termosteel franchising member may get a quotation of any kind of architectural design (from buildings in trim phase to            custom-made turnkey houses), under the sales representation of Somundy Factories. As a franchising member, access more than 46 construction solutions you may offer to your clients as an exclusive assembler.

The cold-formed steel we use technically meets local and international project requirements regarding seismic activity. The ductility of materials under deformation or warping, as well as the cold forming of steel panels and trusses, provides resistance to live and dead loads in any type of building. Thanks to this, Steel Framing is considered one of the most resistant building systems.

Our Academium TERMOSTEEL Training Center provides personalized assistance and the Master General Contractor Program to help builders become familiar with the LSF building system in a practical manner.

The Steel Framing system (self-load bearing profiles) differs from the Drywall system (partition profiles) basically due to the thickness of the steel used to cold-form the profiles. It is not hard to tell the difference between both products. On the one hand, the Steel Framing profiles come in thicknesses of 1 mm and 2.5 mm, with lengths that may be engineered at double height (3 m, 4 m, and 6m), without affecting their resistance properties. On the other hand, Drywall profiles come in thicknesses of 0.45 mm, 0.75 mm, and 0.85 mm, and hence can be used only as a material for non-load bearing partition walls of up to 2.44 m high because, otherwise, their resistance might wear out and the torque be weakened.
